70 years of PricoPlex - changing counter concepts
1954
Revolution in the counter
Until 1954, trays made of sheet metal were used in butcher's shops. "Prico" produces the first acrylic glass trays and launches them on the market. Since our foundation in 1954, we have been developing individual concepts for our customers.

1999
Switch to the high-quality, impact-resistant ABS substrate material
A durable, through-colored layer of acrylic glass seals the surface of the boards. Conscious decision against melamine. At that time still known in the specialist trade under the company name Prico.
1997
Generation change in the family business
Christian Priebe took over the management of PricoPlex in 1997. He consistently pursued his father's ideas and innovations and took them to a new level. We respond to changing customer needs by constantly developing new product types, shapes and colors.
2000
Counter equipment with a system
"PricoPlex comes, PricoPlex goes, the counter is ready" and the customer can work with their counter. This is made possible by an individual counter plan that saves the customer time, encourages spontaneous purchases and guarantees almost 100% counter utilization.
2005
New introduction of the FRESH series and focus on color
Since then, this range has become an integral part of the service counter. The classic colors white and black are joined by trays in red, green and yellow to visually emphasize product groups.
2007
Expansion of the product portfolio
Christian Priebe sees the demand in the counter and expands the PricoPlex range to include salad and Deli Trays, Stepped Displays, Circular Turntable Displays, counter accessories and tableware - always adapted to changes in the market.
2022
Field service throughout Germany and relocation to the new company headquarters in Eresing
Establishment of four regional sales offices North, South, East and West. In addition, the move to a resource-saving, climate-friendly new building takes place. The new company headquarters is now in Eresing near Landsberg.
2023
Patent for the honeycomb floor
The honeycomb floor is now a protected trademark throughout Europe. The European Union Intellectual Property Office entered the honeycomb base in the register of European Union trademarks in May.
2024
The year of innovations
The elegant GRACE series - the original with patent protection causes a sensation in the fresh food counter, caterers set new standards on the buffet with the CATE series plates, the color petrol brings a noble, self-confident look to the counter.
We use digitalization to make your day-to-day work even easier
Digitalization is finding its way into all industries and is not stopping at PricoPlex. Christian Priebe is therefore thinking about digital solutions that can expand the service for customers or simplify the set-up process for everyone involved. After all, the quality of service that has now been achieved should definitely be continued and continuously improved.
Priebe will definitely maintain the German location: "Our products are manufactured in Germany under the highest quality controls.
